As the psychologist will not be able to answer your phone call during sessions, email contact is preferred.

Psychologist’s Availability

Dr Shirley provides In-Person sessions as well as Online sessions (via Zoom) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (except public holidays).

All sessions are by appointment only.

Important Information Regarding Appointments

1. Registration

Please note that you will be required to provide registration information prior to attending your first session.

2. Confidentiality

We adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Singapore Psychological Society and the Australian Psychological Society, and maintain strict confidentiality of client information. Treatment records are kept secure and we will only release information about sessions, diagnosis or treatment plans to a third party with your permission. However, do note that there are a few exceptions, such as instances when there are concerns related to safety or if there is a legal obligation (i.e. by court order) to release information.

Please also note that as a practitioner we sometimes find it helpful to consult other Psychologists about specific issues which may be client related. On these occasions when such consultations occur, identifiable information about clients is not shared, and the consultant is also bound to the code of confidentiality regarding the issues discussed.

3. Payment

Payment is expected at the end of each session, unless we have received pre-approved third party payment for your bill.

4. Cancellation Fee

We maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy and charge for appointments cancelled within this 24-hour time frame. If you are unable to attend your session, we would appreciate a text to let us know, so that we could free up the time for other clients.
